Saturday morning Surf Report

Big Chill Surf Contest This Morning, so give them some courtesy and go to the north or south end of Linda Mar. Waves are 2-3' crumbly and bumpy. Overall nothing exciting, but if you haven't surfed all week, then might as well check it out.

I heard word that OB is overhead and still fairly clean, so if you are up for some bigger waves, that sounds like the place to check out.

Its Friday The 13th.......

Surf was 1-2' this morning with an occasional 3 footer. About 30-40 people were out at Linda Mar ditching work. The waves were a bit textured, but it is yet another nice day at the beach.

Thurs morning report

I am out of town and will be unable to give a Thurs Morning report. Check Pacific Waverider (www.pacificwaverider.com/36n) or Surfline for an update. The swell does look like it is going to be picking up for thursday and probably a bit bigger in the afternoon. Let me know how it is since I'm out of town.

10-11-06 Surf Report - Ankle Slappers

This morning at Linda Mar the surf is 0.5-1', Fun if you are 1' tall, but otherwise, I would recommend to staying in bed unless you are just learning and like the tiny waves. Though there are still about 5 guys out in the water to keep you company. For what it is worth, it is another nice clear day at the beach.
Aloha!

Tuesday Oct 10, 2006 Surf Report

This morning at Linda Mar the waves are 1-3', fairly clean and actually look kind of fun even though they are so small. You will probably want a longboard. Its a beautiful October day at the beach, nice clear skies.

Its Monday! October 9, 2006

The surf this morning at Linda Mar is waist to head high. On the south end it is much cleaner, but only waist to shoulder high, mostly closed out, but with some make-able corners. The middle of the beach is more consistent shoulder high, but it is a bit more crumbly. The north end was still a bit textured, but looked to have a nice right peeling that was about head high with nobody on it. The tide was still pretty low at 7:30AM and I would expect the shape to get better as the tide fills in.

Sunday 10-8-06 Surf Report - New Video

Waves at Linda Mar for today were on average shoulder high today. A bit walled up in the morning, but there were still some fun sections. Fairly clean and soft and every so often a 6 footer would roll through. The fog was trying to creep in, but never seemed to fully move in. By the early afternoon, the wind seemed to come in quite a bit, but the wave were still holding size.

And for a treat:
