12/9/06 Surf Report

Looks like yesterday. Swell is still in. Maybe surfable on the south end of Linda Mar, but most other spots closed out. Couple of paddle boarders out at Pedro Point.

12/8/06 Surf Report

A beautiful sunrise this morning. Offshore winds continue, but the swell has started moving in, and unfortunately, Linda Mar is not taking it too well, so even at the 3-5' on the south end of the beach and the 6-8' on the north end it is closed out along the whole beach. They are clean walls and my guess would be that if you could find a beach that would take it with a little angle, then there may be some nice waves. Sounds like this weekend's storm is going to bring some big waves.

12/7/06

Yet another day with nice conditions. Offshore, clean, sunny skies, you can tell the rest. 3-4' peaks.

12/6/06 Surf Report

If you aren't getting bored of clean waves with offshore winds, well its another day of that. Size has picked up a little bit, 3-4' faces in middle of beach at Linda Mar and 4-6' on the north end.

Full Moon Surf Report 12/5/06

The good conditions continue at Linda Mar. This morning there was a nice full moon shining bright over the clear blue skies. The offshore wind was still keeping the waves clean. It was still a bit inconsistent like the past few days, but at least the sets had 5-10 waves to them. The middle of the beach was 2-4' and the north end was 3-5'. The waits between sets was sometimes 10-20 minutes, but it was worth it for the nice A-Frame peaks. Get out there if you can before the negative 1.4' low tide hits this evening. OB may be the better late afternoon option.

And by popular request, a Full Moon photo. Its sideways because I couldn't figure out how to rotate it.

12/4/06 Surf Report

The nice, glassy conditions continue. Keep coming offshore wind. At Linda Mar waves were 2-3' in front of the pump house and 3-5' on the north end. Nice peaks peeling left and right across the beach. A bit inconsistent, but worth the wait. There were some nice hollow head high+ lefts peeling through on the north end.
I hear that OB has some real nice waves today, as well.

An Old Kook with A Camera's Wipeouts

No report for today because I had a ton of work to do. I did see that there continued to be some nice offshore conditions up and down the coast. Hopefully you had fun in the waves.

Snappersuperbank sent me a link to this video which I thought everyone would get a kick out of.
