Thursday Surf Report

Waves this morning were still a bit textured due to the heavy onshore wind, mostly about waist to shoulder high, with a little bigger waves up on the north end. It is nice and sunny at the beach, but a little crisp. There were a few guys out playing in the textured waves, overall nothing exciting, but it is rideable. I'm going to be out of town till Tuesday on the Outer Banks. So in the meantime, feel free to post surf report updates if you so desire.

Wednesday Morning Report 11/8/2006

Waves this morning are a bit textured from the strong onshore wind that came in with last night’s storm front. There is not as much size as the reports were calling for, but maybe once the tide drops a bit. You will need to find somewhere protected from the wind if you want to escape the wind chop.

P.S. I'm glad to hear that people have been enjoying the reports that I give. I try to constantly improve it, so let me know if you have any recommendations (dailysurfreport@gmail.com). Spread the word.

Tuesday 11/7/06 Report

Waves this morning at Linda Mar were a little mixed up. Mostly about waist high. Nice and sunny day. I ended up heading up to OB to try and catch some waves. The waves were still a bit mixed up out there, but they were on average head high. A bit soft with the morning high tide. Super foggy out there, so tough to see what was coming in, but overall some fun waves to be had. Sounds like the swell should start pulsing in later this afternoon.

Remember to Vote

Looking like there is going to be some good waves into the afternoon, so remember to vote in the morning before the surf session.

Not to try and preach my political views on you, but I assume that if you like to check this site that you appreciate the ocean and you would like to preserve it. In this case, I would recommend voting Yes on Prop 84 & 87 and No on Prop 90.

Monday Surf Report

Not a whole lot out there, about 1-2' with occasional 3'. Lets hope that the next couple of days bring in something better.
