Friday Surf Report from anonymous

As posted in the comments....
Well, it certainly looked like winter out there. It was a COLD morning with waves in the head high range at mid-beach. There was a slight offshore breeze and the tide was high getting higher. The crowd was light with only about 15guys spread across the beach. Waves weren't anything exciting with mushy waves on the south end and closeouts for mid-beach and the north end. As usual there were a few makable shoulders around, but only a few. Things might improve as the day goes along and the tide drops. If nothing else it will be a bit warmer.

Thanks for the report. I'm going to be in Tahoe for a few days and then in So. Cal. so I probably won't post till just after the new year. Sounds like a good sized swell coming in. Catch some fun ones!

Tuesday Morning Surf Report

Surf has really backed off now, 2-3' offshore winds, rainy. One guy in the water and a couple others pondering it. Overall nothing too epic but looked like a rideable one would come through every so often.

Monday Surf Report

Waves today were still holding some size, 4-8'. But they were a little more closed out than yesterday. Despite the rain and strong winds overnight, it did not make things too choppy.

Sunday Surf Report

Waves have picked up quite a bit. Still clean conditions. South end was 3-5' and north end was 6-8' and Pedro Point was breaking too. A couple of guys were catching some overhead rides on the north end and the point. Some non-closeouts.
