Report for Thurs 9/14/06 Windy, but not terrible conditions
Well, the wind is very strong as the reports predicted, but at Linda Mar and Rockaway it is kind of side shore/offshore, so it is not destroying things. In the beginner zone on the south end of Linda Mar is the only spot that really has peeling waves, 3-4' occasional larger sets. It is mostly closed out on the rest of the beach. The wind is pretty strong where if you aren't careful to hold down your nose, then your board will flip over. Rockaway was a little more bumpy, nobody out, with some ridable 4-6' waves. And by France's request, Heres a sunrise picture!
