Surf Report 9/12/02 - Clean Close-Outs

Happy Tuesday! WEll, today is another foggy day, but there was at least enough visibility to see a few waves. They were clean, but closed out about 2-3'. I didn't see anyone catch any waves, but I think they were all beginners because I think most people would have chosen to go back to sleep or go to work if they saw the conditions. It was super drained out low tide, so maybe as the tide comes in along with this new swell, it may get better.

Just for kicks, at least these guys where having fun fishing!

UPDATE: As I was driving into work around 8AM, the sun broke through in Linda Mar and Rockaway. The north end of LM was probably 4' with one person out - very clean close-outs and Rockaway from what I could see looked a little bit bigger and may have not been closing out as bad.

The waves seem pretty strong right now. Not too many people out but there are a few catching really fast fast waves. Fog is starting to burn off.
